SingleHop Hosting

I had servers at theplanet.com for a couple of years and recently switched to SingleHop. They are an ISP based out of Chicago and I’ve been very happy with them. Their network feels faster then theplanet and certainly the ping and traceroute return times are better. Overall latency is excellent.

One reason that I left ThePlanet is that their equipment and bandwidth cost has not changed much in the past couple of years. I tried to work with their sales staff, but that didn’t get me very far.

When I began to look at alternatives, I read several good reviews on various blogs about SingleHop. I contacted Dan Ushman, their VP of Marketing and switched.

This was 6 weeks ago and I’m a happy camper. Much faster hardware, much faster network connection and boatloads of bandwidth.

Plus they have a control panel and other tools that are supported on the iPhone.

If you use my last name (in lowercase “cianca”) as a promo code you can get good discounts if you order from them.
